Tethics Multiplier Event in Paris: bridging ethics and technology
The Erasmus+ project TETHICS: A Serious Game for Innovative Education in Ethics of Technology reached an exciting milestone with a successful Multiplier Event hosted by our French partner, Galaxea Advisory, in Paris on 21th November 2024. This event brought together a diverse audience, including entrepreneurs, VET academics, and professionals from the technology sector, to explore the project’s approach to ethics education.
Participants engaged in meaningful discussions about the Tethics project, gaining insights into its vision, processes, and steps toward creating an impactful learning tool. The highlight of the event was the introduction of the project’s key deliverable – The Tethics Board Game.
This innovative educational tool transforms complex ethical dilemmas into interactive scenarios, challenging players to think critically and collaborate to address pressing issues in technology, such as AI ethics, data privacy, and sustainability.
A roundtable discussion allowed attendees to share their thoughts on the project and the game. The constructive feedback and overwhelmingly positive responses validated the project team’s efforts, reflecting the game’s potential to inspire meaningful learning and ethical decision-making in VET and beyond.
