Multiplier Event in Athens: a step forward for ethics education
On 27 November 2024, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), as the project coordinator, successfully hosted a Multiplier Event for the Erasmus+ project TETHICS: A Serious Game for Innovative Education in Ethics of Technology.
The event welcomed a diverse group of participants, including:
- VET Academics
- Institution Representatives and Policymakers
- Learners
- Professionals in Technology and Ethics
The discussions centered on the project’s objectives, progress, and methodology, culminating in the much-anticipated introduction of its key deliverable – the Tethics board game.
Exploring the Game and Gathering Insights
Participants had the opportunity to delve into the game’s potential as a tool for addressing ethical challenges in technology. Engaging gameplay sessions were complemented by a roundtable discussion, where stakeholders shared valuable feedback on the game and the project as a whole.
The overwhelmingly positive reactions underscored the importance of the Tethics project in advancing ethical awareness and education within the VET and technology sectors.
